Pegasus Real Estate was co-founded by two senior real estate executives whose extensive experience in real estate and finance spans transactions totaling in excess of $8 billion across multiple property types and geographies over their careers.
As Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Jonas oversees the company’s strategic vision and execution of the firm’s investments.
Prior to co-founding Pegasus, Jonas spent 16 years working in various roles within the real estate and finance industries. His experience ranges from public REITs to the private equity side of commercial real estate inclusive of multifamily, industrial, retail, hospitality, self-storage, student housing, senior housing, and office assets. Over his career Jonas has invested in, financed, acquired, and disposed of billions of dollars’ worth of commercial real estate.
Jonas holds a BBA in Finance from the University of North Texas and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
As Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Justin oversees the company’s strategic vision and execution of the firm’s investments.
Prior to co-founding Pegasus, Justin spent 15 years working in various roles within the real estate and finance industries. His experience ranges from the finance and private equity side of commercial real estate to hands-on management at the property level, both domestically and internationally. Over his career Justin has invested in, financed, and consulted on billions of dollars’ worth of commercial real estate transactions.
Justin holds a BA in History from Occidental College and an MS in Real Estate Finance from New York University.
As Vice President, Matthew oversees the company’s accounting and finance functions including treasury management, financial reporting, asset performance and monitoring, acquisitions, and investor reporting.
Prior to joining Pegasus, Matthew was Director of Finance at Sow Good Inc., with previous experience in J.P. Morgan’s Real Estate Investment Banking group, as well as at Hunt Realty Investments.
Matthew holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
As Vice President of Asset Management, Robert oversees the company’s portfolio and execution of the various asset business plans.
Prior to joining Pegasus, Robert was Senior Asset Manager at PGIM Real Estate managing the assets of a commercial real estate loan portfolio comprised of multifamily, mixed-use, industrial, and healthcare assets. His experience ranges from corporate finance and law to the private equity side of commercial real estate. Over his career Robert has sourced, structured, capitalized, and managed billions of dollars’ worth of commercial real estate.
Robert holds a BBA in Management from Texas Christian University as well as a JD and LLM in Banking, Finance, and Taxation from Southern Methodist University.
As Vice President of Capital Formation, Mark leads fundraising efforts and investor engagement, focusing expanding on the firm’s institutional relationships and high-net-worth investor base.
Prior to joining Pegasus, Mark was a key member of the Capital Formation team at S2 Capital, where he helped lead fundraising efforts for the firm’s various real estate vehicles and played an integral role in launching S2’s Real Estate Income Trust, the nation’s largest multifamily pure-play private REIT. His expertise spans investment structuring, capital strategy, and relationship management, supporting the firm’s growth.
Mark graduated from Keiser University in West Palm Beach, Florida, where he was a member of the baseball team.
